RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Years after the plug was pulled, a singing and dancing Halloween display in Riverside is back and bumping to the Black Eyed Peas.

The popular pumpkin faces are singing again after a homeowners association complained about the crowds the musical light show attracted.

This year, Kevin Judd plugged the music and the lights back in, but this time at a friends’ home nearby without a nagging HOA.

“It’s a great location across the street from a park, plenty of parking,” he said.

Tuesday night was just a test run, but the crowds turned up.

“It’s been pretty crazy. A lot of people [are] trying to figure out where we are on Facebook,” homeowner Melanie Betty said.

A normal house by day, the home of the pumpkin faces is now illuminated by thousands of colored LED lights and dancing kids by night.

The free show runs every night around 7:30 p.m. in the 8000 block of Deercreek Drive in Riverside, across from Orange Terrace Park, until Halloween.
